Ideas for Staying Healthy, Mind and Body

Healthy thinking:

  • Try to focus on the here and now and don’t overthink difficult situations

  • Declutter – Mind and Home!

 

Relaxation:

  • Long hot soak in bath
  • Pamper yourself/others

  • Meditation apps/Mindfulness

Pleasant activities:

  • Watch a fun boxset
  • Play board games
  • Paint/draw/colour in
  • Gardening
  • Baking/cooking – try a new recipe
  • Sewing
  • Quality time with family
  • Messy play with children

 

Goals:

  • If you have a musical instrument – learn to play it or something new
  • Plan long term goals and how you will work towards them
  • Learn a new skill
  • Learn to cook
  • Teach children or family life skills – changing the oil on the car, decorate, sewing
  • Try to achieve at least one small thing every day
  • All of those things you always say, ‘If i had time’ – do them!

 

Just because we are ‘self isolating’ does not mean you have to be isolated!
