If you are feeling suicidal or in crisis the best thing is to talk. Speak to somebody you trust or contact a service who can offer you support. If you think that somebody that you know might be suicidal – ask them.

The Samaritans on 116 123 (free to call) 01642 217777 also offer a 24 hour confidential, emotional support for anyone in a crisis. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or drop-in.  Usual hours open to receive callers at the door are Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday 2pm to 8pm (Monday, Tuesday, Friday – closed).  Please phone before visiting to check someone is available to help. From 6pm-6am 7 days a week, you can ring Mental Health Matters helpline on 0800 052 0658

You can contact your GP or call the NHS 111 number who can help you to access specialist mental health telephone or face to face support.
